Michael Purifoy joined VeraBank in 2014 as head of the business banking department. He brought a decade of banking/treasury management experience to his position. He manages the growth and security of all of VeraBank treasury product solutions. Michael serves with many community services and currently serves as Chairman of the Board for DORS Community Services in Longview.
In banking since 1997, Erica brings a wealth of knowledge to our customers. Her previous positions within the bank range from Senior Retail Operations Officer and Branch Manager, to Relationship Banker and now Treasury Management Officer. Erica has served in the community on many levels as well, including Junior Achievement volunteer and board member.
Robin has nearly 10 years of banking experience and has worked in many different areas of the bank, including operations, loans, and currently, the business banking sales department. A Central Texas native, she truly enjoys helping businesses within the community excel in all financial aspects. When not working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family (pups included), cooking, kayaking or photographing the sunset.
Joe brings with him more than 22 years of banking and new business development experience to VeraBank. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from St. Edward’s University in Austin. Joe is very involved in the community, serving on many boards throughout his career.
Katie started with VeraBank in 2018 as a Treasury Management Officer, bringing with her 10 years of banking experience, including a previous position as Branch Manager. She studied Business at The University of Texas at Tyler and received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Katie enjoys community work and is a part of the East Texas Professionals Network and Tyler Young Professionals Network.
Roberto has more than 15 years of experience in personal banking, mortgage lending and commercial banking. Roberto is currently most excited about sharing VeraBank’s user-friendly services and technology to help business owners increase efficiency. His involvement in the community includes facilitating the Raising Highly Capable Kids program, in English and Spanish, serving as Board Development Chair on the Longview Boys and Girls Club Council, and volunteer coaching for the Boys and Girls Club.
