VeraBank Holding Design Contest for Downtown Garage

VeraBank is holding a design contest for its downtown parking garage, located at the corner of Tyler St. and Green St. The winning design will be painted along both Tyler St. and Green St. sides of the garage. One grand prize winner will be chosen by VeraBank and awarded $1,500; second and third place winners will be awarded $500 each.

The refresh of the garage is part of the bank’s planned downtown improvements, which include a new façade to the building currently housing the Longview Museum of Fine Arts as well as a new awning extending from VeraBank down to the parking garage.

The contest is officially open, and designs will be accepted via email now through May 31 at 5 p.m. Winners will be contacted no later than June 30. Submission forms and entry details are available online at www.verabank.com/artcontest.
